Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Typically this type of massage is used for post surgical/ post injury fluid retention/edema/swelling. It can be incorporated in to any massage session book this session if your doctor suggested MLD or call to discuss options so we can pick the best treatment for your needs.
