Rebecca graduated with her Massage Therapy diploma in 2009, and discovered a passion for working with athletic populations in 2015. Since then she has worked with numerous athletes across a variety of sports. Selected teams/events include World and Canadian Muay Thai Champions, Pinty’s Grand Slam Tour Challenge (curling), HockeyNL’s High Performance Program, Hockey Canada’s Senior National Women’s Team, the IIHF High Performance Program, and the MUN Seahawks Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. As a former artistic swimmer, she was honoured to work with Canada Artistic Swimming’s Olympic Training Team during their visit to Newfoundland in 2019. Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2021 from Memorial University, and is currently working towards her Sport Massage Therapist diploma. She uses cups and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization in her treatments along with manual work, and puts a strong emphasis on client education and home care. Outside of sports therapy, Rebecca has a strong passion for helping pre and postpartum mothers through all the stages of their journey. She strongly believes in the mental and emotional benefits of massage, along with the physical.
