My path into massage therapy has been shaped by a lifelong fascination with movement, health, creativity, and the human experience. Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent decades immersed in modern dance, yoga, and the visual arts — experiences that taught me to see the body not just as a structure of muscles and bones, but as a remarkable expression of who we are and how we move through the world. I hold a degree in Fine Art from Southern Oregon University, where my work focused on figurative painting and afterwards expanded into themes of human rights and social justice. That artistic lens still informs the way I approach the body — Movement and art taught me the same thing: that how we inhabit our bodies tells a deeper story. I received my massage training from the Alive and Well School of Conscious Bodywork in San Anselmo, California in 1996, and spent much of my career practice as an on-site massage therapist in Marin County before relocating to Central Oregon and becoming an Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist in 2020. These days you'll find me in my art studio, a Barre class, riding my Peloton, or tackling whatever my first home demands — painting walls, landscaping, figuring things out one project at a time. I've always learned best by doing. I enjoy helping people to slow down and find greater health and ease in their bodies. Whether someone is seeking relief from chronic tension, recovering from daily stress, or simply making time for self-care, I believe in massage therapy as a profound yet simple path to health and wellness. It is a privilege to be trusted with that process.
