She is very passionate about helping her patients decrease pain and return to their daily activities by combining her skills as a Certified Massage Therapist with her knowledge of chiropractic and rehabilitation. For 4 seasons, Kelly was a massage therapist for professional athletes including the San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors. During the season, she had the opportunity to work with players to help them prepare for a game, or recover from injuries using a variety of modalities and techniques including IASTM, cupping, flossing, electric stim, stretching, and deep tissue sports massage. In the off seasons, she massaged in a chiropractic clinic which is where she was inspired to become a chiropractor in order to help her patients even further. As a former gymnast with multiple injuries, Kelly knows the importance of being able to perform while feeling your best, physically and mentally. Outside of the office, you can find Kelly fishing, surfing, or running along the coastline.
30 minute chiropractic exam and treatment. The exam will go over your health history, functional movement screening, muscle balance testing. The treatment is based on the exam findings, but usually involve acupressure point work, cupping, Graston (aka scraping), and the chiropractic adjustment. Rehabilitative stretches and exercises may also be given based on the results of the examination.
