Board Certification is the highest voluntary credential attainable in the massage therapy and bodywork profession with a distinct level of achievement beyond entry-level licensure. A 2008 graduate of the Lourdes Institute of Wholistic Studies, Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with a 4.0 average and a Wholistic Practitioner Certification. In 2009 Andrea was asked to join the Clinic Supervisor team at the Lourdes Institute. She assumed the role of Instructor and member of the hospitals Colleague Advisory Counsel. As an Instructor for the Lourdes Institute, Andrea obtained the skills necessary to create a fun and informative learning environment for students of the program in both their core curriculum as the Myofascial I and Myofascial II Instructor and also as Coordinator and Supervisor for the 100 hour Student Clinic. In addition to her roles at the Institute she is also the owner and operator of ndrea massage , a private practice servicing the South Jersey area for the past 13 years and now in Western North Carolina. Andreas personable and easy-going nature allows her to work well with any type of client to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.She has accumulated more than 2,000 hours of continuing education in advanced massage modalities such as Myofascial structural bodywork, Neurosomatic practice, Trigger Point Therapy, advanced Scar Tissue mobilization techniques and Oncology Massage. She enjoys working with athletes to promote more flexibility and injury prevention as much as she enjoys working with patients recovering from surgery or anyone suffering from chronic pain conditions.Her education and experience promote diversity and personal client care.
