Master of Science in Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Tanis graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors in Science in Kinesiology. While there, she received a scholarship to play varsity soccer after completing her youth soccer at Surrey United. Tanis obtained her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in England, graduating with distinction and, top of her class. Tanis implements a combination of manual therapy, exercise therapy and education to help patients achieve their rehab goals. She understands that each person has unique needs and does her utmost to tailor individual rehab plans. Tanis draws from her experience as a high-level athlete, sustaining several injuries herself and therefore appreciates the physical and mental toll injuries have on athletes. Tanis hopes to help others achieve their full potential and performance. During her free time, you will see Tanis on the soccer field, where she continues to play Women’s Premier Division soccer. She enjoys the outdoors, staying active, exercising and spending time with family and friends. Tanis continues to be a fixture with the Surrey United Soccer Club, where she provides game-day and tournament physiotherapy coverage.
