Dynamic Performance and Therapy
Matt graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, IA in 2004 with his Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. While at Simpson College he became Certified in Strength and Conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Interested in continuing professional growth he went on to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program graduating in 2008. Here he had the opportunity to complete a clinical internship with the United States Coast Guard. Dr. Haberl then completed his Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Training in 2010 and his Fellowship in Manual Therapy with Evidence in Motion in 2012. He specializes in neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation and prevention of injuries. He offers a unique perspective to restoring an individual’s optimal pain-free movement with the use of the Functional Movement Screen, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, integrating a variety of different manual therapy, as well as assisted soft tissue mobilization complimented with a variety of corrective exercises. Outside of the sports rehabilitation and enhancement, he does specialize in more persistent pain populations including chronic low back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome.
