Sue Macrae has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1994 and during this time she has worked in various clinical settings as both a Registered Massage Therapist and a clinic owner. She is a long term East Vancouver resident and loves being able to practice so close to home. Sue earned her degree in Physical Education from the University of British Columbia and graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Her post-graduate courses and studies have focused on myofascial release, a specialized technique that focuses on the fascia of the body. By treating individual or groups of muscle and fascia concurrently, Sue can effectively release muscle tissue and improve stability, coordination and compensations in posture or movement. She has completed a two year Fascial Integration Course, this program taught her to look more clearly at the body 3 dimensionally during treatment. Sue and her family lead an active west coast lifestyle. She is an avid hiker, skier and stand up paddler. She also has an extensive background in aquatics.
