Dr. Turner graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics. She continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic designation with clinic honours. Dr. Turner has also been a full-body certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider for over 10 years. Dr. Turner’s approach to treatment focuses on the principle that optimal joint function is dependent on proper soft tissue function, and vice versa. Dr. Turner has found ART to complement her chiropractic approach, especially for long-standing or recurring problems where significant muscle or other soft tissue involvement is present. Emphasis is also placed on rehabilitative exercises to improve strength and flexibility. It is Dr. Turner’s primary goal to help you achieve optimal function in sports, work and everyday life. In her approach, it is also equally important that you understand the mechanics of your injury in order to prevent future recurrence.
