Julia earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Before becoming a physiotherapist, she spent nearly a decade as a professional biathlete, competing internationally as a member of Canada’s National and World Cup teams. She proudly represented Team Canada at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Her lifelong passion for sport and movement continues to shape her clinical practice, where she is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential—whatever their playground may look like. Julia believes physiotherapy should be fun, engaging, and meaningful. She combines evidence-based treatment with play-based approaches to motivate, challenge, and support children as they work toward their individual goals. She has additional training in breastfeeding and latching support, mastitis care, therapeutic bike fitting for growing bodies, concussion management, and manual therapy. While Julia has a special interest in pediatric physiotherapy, she also welcomes adult patients and enjoys helping individuals of all ages improve their mobility, recover from injury, and achieve their movement goals. Outside of the clinic you’ll find Julia skiing, mountain biking, and adventuring with her family.
