CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE I have worked in private practice in the areas of orthopaedics and sports medicine since 2017. I have a special interest in the treatment of artistic athletes in high-flexibility sports such as dance and gymnastics. I worked as the Lead Physiotherapist of the Alberta Ballet Company from 2020 to 2024, treating the Company’s professional dancers and touring with them during performances. I have a unique skillset to build strength and manage pain in hypermobile individuals, including those with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I have extensive experience in pediatrics. I guide young athletes through injury recovery with a holistic approach, ensuring that their family and coaches understand the step-wise plan. I also treat infants with head shape concerns and torticollis, using therapeutic play and holding positions to build strength and mobility. I am certified to perform functional dry needling. I have completed training in manual therapy, concussion management, treatment of dancers and gymnasts, as well as treatment of infant plagiocephaly and torticollis. I strive to empower my patients with the knowledge and confidence to manage their condition and promote life-long health. I hold a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.
