Agustin Navarro JR or simply JR is a Registered Physiotherapist in BC since 1991. He graduated from the Emilio Aguinaldo College in Manila, Philippines in 1983 and started his PT practice as a travelling PT in 1984(USA) Texas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia and Missouri. He started his PT practice in BC in 1991 specializing in Musculoskeletal- skeletal and soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, orthopaedic injuries (post ACL, laminectomies, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, post shoulder surgeries, impingement syndrome, etc), vertigo, vestibular and balance impairment, acute exacerbative injuries, chronic pains, geriatric treatments, etc. His 41 years of PT experience provides him with an extensive knowledge in PT application of modalities (shock wave, electro therapeutic machines, etc), acupressure and meridian point induction, active rehabilitation, work conditioning and work hardening programs, cranial-sacral therapy, myofascial release techniques, joint and soft tissue mobilization and others .He has extensive knowledge and expertise in handling ICBC(MVA), WorkSafeBC (work related inj.)MSP and other Private Insurance patients He is an active member of the College of Physical Therapists in British Columbia since 1991 as well as the Canadian Physiotherapist Association(CPA), Physiotherapy Association of BC, and the American Physical Therapy Association(APTA).
