Marshall’s philosophy and approach to massage therapy is based on first-hand experience in recovering from several musculoskeletal injuries. Combining massage with therapeutic exercise he has learned to not only overcome injury but guard against it as well. This interest in the human body continually drives him to improve his understanding in all matters ranging from rehabilitation to performance. Treatment focus is on reducing aggravating symptoms and restoring faith in our body’s capacity to work so we can get back to doing the activities we love. This is achieved by utilizing various massage methods such as deep or calming Swedish techniques, assisted stretches, joint mobilizations, and various other modalities. Each session is tailored to the patient to bring about their desired results in a cooperative environment. Suggestions for exercises or modifications to activities in daily life are an integral part of this process. Everyone is encouraged to get active and take charge of their recovery.
