Electric City Physiotherapy

Suite 103 / 1054 Monaghan Rd, Peterborough, ON, K9J 5L3

Tyler called Northen Ontario home for 24 years, growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, and then attending Lakehead University in Thunder Bay where he graduated with a Bachelors of Kinesiology. Heading south, he completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in Kingston. It was during this time he gained experience in many different cities, including Peterborough where he really enjoyed. Tyler has always enjoyed competing in sports and physical activity, participating in hockey and football until he graduated high school. In the years since, he found a love for distance running and strength training. Tyler has participated in a variety of running events from 5km to marathons. He finds fun in seeking a challenge and has undertaken a 300+km run in a week. Tyler integrates his challenge-seeking mindset, with his physical activity experience, and knowledge in healthcare to help assist others in meeting their goals. Tyler believes that the best care is achieved when the patient and physiotherapist collaborate to solve the problem at hand. This includes your voice being heard when it comes to decisions about your health, and the proceeding path we take to achieve your goals; whether they are to walk around the block, getting back on the ice in hockey, or anything in between. Tyler’s mindset is that you should always look to improve, and he is excited to continue growing as a physiotherapist through continued education courses. Tyler is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Penguins fan, enjoys playing video games, learning about history and is willing to challenge anybody in Harry Potter trivia.
