Angela has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2002. An interest in a holistic approach to health care and a basic desire to help people feel better-made massage therapy a fitting career choice for Angela. She has a strong interest in fascial and visceral manipulation. Visceral manipulation is a treatment that involves working with the mobility of internal organs (viscera). Fascia knows no bounds, therefore, pain and restrictions can spread throughout many different types of tissue. The modalities used are subtle and enhance the proper function of organs by encouraging their normal mobility and tone. Some indications for visceral manipulation include bladder incontinence, dysmenorrhea, acid reflux (heartburn), any digestive issues, swallowing dysfunctions, anxiety, and headaches to name a few. It is an excellent tool to have a more complete and holistic approach to treatment to allow the body to fully heal.
