Jasleen completed her Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Physiology at Simon Fraser University, and then moved to the UK where she completed her Masters in Physiotherapy. Jasleen worked in the UK across multiple settings including outpatient hospitals and physiotherapy clinics before moving back to Canada. She has experience working with a wide variety of conditions, including sport injuries, general injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic conditions. In the UK, Jasleen underwent additional training for pain management, arthritis and exercise therapy. Being active her entire life, through sports and the gym, Jasleen has experienced injuries and understands their impact on daily function. She believes exercise, education and manual therapy all have an important role in helping clients feel better. Jasleen is passionate about providing person centered care, where personal goals are considered the most important ones for treatment. She believes helping a client return to the activities they value is one of most rewarding parts of being a physiotherapist. In her spare time, Jasleen enjoys tennis, soccer and running and is a regular at the gym doing different forms of weight-lifting and HIIT workouts. She is a big Whitecaps FC fan and enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants and helping with various social media platforms for her family’s business in her spare time.
