Dr. Shaina Vetter was born and raised in Alberta and attended the University of Calgary, where she earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating summa cum laude in 2020. While completing her Chiropractic education, she also obtained her Functional Integrated Acupuncture Certification through the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and completed training in Active Release Techniques (ART). Dr. Vetter is also certified in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise. Dr. Vetter’s passion for movement and performance began at a young age. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years before spending another decade coaching the sport. Prior to attending UWS, she competed in three World Cheerleading Championships and two fitness competitions. Her own experiences as an athlete have shaped her approach to Chiropractic care and inspired her passion for helping patients move well, feel their best, and perform at their highest potential. She uses a variety of evidence-informed techniques to create individualized treatment plans for her patients, including manual Chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Techniques (ART), functional acupuncture including dry needling, soft-tissue therapies, and rehabilitative exercise. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels, from youth athletes and competitive performers to weekend warriors. She also has a special interest in supporting women throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shaina is a proud mother of three. She enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the mountains through hiking, paddleboarding, camping, and other outdoor adventures.
