Carla has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 2008. Early in her career, she discovered a deep passion for women’s health and fertility, which led her to pursue a doctoral degree with a specialty in reproductive health. Carla has dedicated her work to supporting patients through preconception, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. She has helped hundreds of individuals and couples on their path to building their families. Her work is also shaped by personal experience—after navigating her own extended journey with infertility, she was able to conceive with the support of Chinese herbs and medicinal foods. This experience reinforces her strong belief in each patient’s potential and the body’s capacity for healing. Carla is licensed by the California State Board and nationally certified, and she is a member of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She also holds an undergraduate degree in environmental science from Barnard College and is deeply passionate about the natural world and the importance of protecting and restoring it.
