I have been an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association(AMTA), since 2005. As anAMTA member, I keep up with educational requirements and make use of the online courses available. My style of massage is diverse, and geared toward balancing the Body, Mind & Spirit. I am certified in a number of different modalities, including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Oncology, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Pregnancy, Quantum Touch, Migraine Miracle and Table Thai Massage. Before Covid (BC) I worked at Women & Infants and the Newport Hospital, providing cancer patients with Facials, Reflexology and Massage. In 2015, I graduated from Inner Light Yoga Studio, in Middletown RI, obtaining my yoga certification in Hatha Yoga, which is a gentle and restorative type of yoga, focused on proper body alignment and breathing techniques. I am also experienced in skin care and hold an active cosmetology license since 1995. With training from the Aveda Skin Institute and a background in Ayurvedic Massage, I provide custom facials, which include facial massage, focusing on acupressure points to relieve sinus pressure, address TMJ issues and reduce muscle tension.
