Juana received her BS Degree in Biology fromNorthern Arizona Universityin 1985. She then received her Massage Therapy training from theDesert Institute of the Healing Artsin Tucson, Arizona in 1990 (now known asCortiva Institute School of Massage Therapy). She and her husband (and fellow massage therapist), Scott Nicholson, moved up here that same year to make Flagstaff their home. She is licensed by theArizona State Board of Massage Therapy, Board Certified byNCTMB,members of theAmerican Massage Therapy Association.Juana is also a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certified by theNutritional Therapy Association. In our Therapeutic Massage we end up using a variety to techniques to tailer the session to your specific needs. It could include Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, a variety of Stretches to CranioSacral Therapy and perhaps some Manual Lymphatic Drainage. It all depends on what is presenting itself and your preferences.
