Empower Physiotherapy

3251 Eastgate Drive, Regina, SK, S4Z1A4

Originally from Nipawin in northeast Saskatchewan, Charlize grew up with a deep appreciation for movement and expression through dance. She began dancing at the age of six and trained extensively in ballet, jazz, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, tap, and hip hop. Charlize completed her Bachelor of Science - Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan. Her background in dance has given her a strong foundation in body awareness, coordination, and control, which she integrates into her physiotherapy practice. Charlize has clinical experience in both pediatric and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and has developed a particular interest in working with artistic and movement-based populations, including dancers, gymnasts, and performing artists. She is passionate about helping clients move with confidence and strength—tailoring each treatment to their individual goals and lifestyles. Outside of the clinic, Charlize enjoys staying active, traveling, and has a strong interest in visual arts. She is excited to bring her passion for rehabilitation and performance to the Empower Physiotherapy team.
