In 2012, Julie graduated from the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ottawa, Ontario and established Access Acupuncture in Cornwall with her husband. After 7 years of successful practice, Julie & her family moved to Nova Scotia in 2019 & opened a clinic in Dartmouth, where she now practices acupuncture & traditional chinese medicine. She specializes in womens health, pediatric treatments, internal medicine conditions, bladder issues, fertility, pregnancy and pain. Julie practices the Balance Method, a unique and highly effective style of acupuncture from Taiwan. She is one of only 15 recognized Balance Method practitioners in Canada. She is also the first and only certified practitioner from the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association in the Atlantic provinces.
