Dr. Kara earned her chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in 2006. After establishing a thriving family practice in Oakland, she recently transitioned to dedicating her full attention to her Forestville office, which is much closer to her home. Dr. Kara is deeply committed to service, having volunteered her chiropractic expertise in various settings such as women’s shelters, health fairs at San Quentin Prison, high school career days, and mentoring chiropractic students. Her passion for service extends globally, as evidenced by her teaching and volunteer work in countries including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Brazil, Peru, El Salvador, and Argentina. Dr. Kara’s pursuit of knowledge led her to complete a birth doula certification, Foundation Training instructor certification, Beyond her chiropractic practice, Dr. Kara was awarded a soccer and track scholarship to the University of Cincinnati and holds a national D soccer coaching license. She still plays in several adult soccer leagues and enjoys spending time walking her two German Shepherds, Sammy and Bear.
