Jim has been a practicing physiotherapist for more than 33 years. During that time Jim has been one of the true leaders in our profession, bringing clinical expertise, communication and an in-depth awareness of how to successfully navigate the therapeutic experience. Having originally graduated from Western in 1991, Jim has gone on to complete an MClSc (MT) at UWO in 2010, a Post Professional Doctorate in MSK Management from EIM in 2013, and a wealth of other continuing education curriculums. Jim has also been an accredited Mulligan Concept instructor since 2007, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). A few other professional facts about Jim are that until its recent sale, he was an 18-year owner/partner at one of London Ontario’s most respected orthopaedic private practices: Body Mechanics Physiotherapy. He has also been a leader as the national director of clinical training and development for rehabilitation with CBI Health and is a lecturer at Western University in the MClScPT program. Moreover, Jim has sat as the past vice chair of the Leadership Division of the CPA and has been a repeated presenter for symposia both provincially and nationally. On a personal note, Jim has a creative side which inspired him to release his first book of poetry in 2022 called “Cuoreosity: The heArt of Being”. He’s looking to release his second book of poetry/prose in 2026.
