Hi Everyone. My name is Rowen and I am a registered massage therapist (RMT) who has been practicing for 9 years in the spa setting. I enjoy working with many different massage techniques to accommodate your therapeutic needs and concerns including cupping, deep tissue, prenatal and more! I look forward to working with you.

Massage

A targeted treatment for those who suffer from TMJ dysfunction, jaw discomfort, clenching, grinding, headaches, sinus discomfort or generalized upper body tension. The treatment begins with attentive work on the back, addressing fascial adhesions and trigger points, while stimulating circulation. Followed by an intensive buccal (intra-oral), neck and head massage to relieve tension, stimulate the ligaments and fascia of the jaw muscles, improve lymphatic drainage and decrease stress and discomfort of the upper body.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic massage is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that decreases congestion by stimulating the lymphatic system, a crucial part of the body's immune and circulatory systems. Unlike a deep tissue massage, this treatment uses very light pressure, long, gentle strokes, and specific movements to encourage the flow of lymph fluid. The lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste, toxins, and excess fluid from the body's tissues. When this system becomes sluggish, it can lead to fluid retention, swelling (lymphedema), and a weakened immune response. A lymphatic drainage massage helps to clear these blockages and promote healthy circulation.
