Paula graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018. During her studies she was fortunate to gain a diverse range of treatment experiences including outreach opportunities at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, George Pearson Centre, Royal Columbian Maternity Unit / NICU, as well as hands-on treatment of patients with neurological conditions, anxiety, depression, sports injuries, postural dysfunction, muscle imbalances, and more. Paula utilizes various techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, neuromuscular techniques, trigger point therapy, as well as utilizing Swedish massage to weave it all together in a flowing and relaxing manner. She is enthusiastic and committed to helping her patients achieve their health and wellness goals through treatment, homecare, and patient education. As a busy mother of two, Paula is grateful to live and practice in her community of Maple Ridge, BC. She enjoys staying current in her field of practice through ongoing evidence-based research and continuing education. When not working Paula enjoys spending time hiking, gardening, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
New Patients Only, Initial Visit - 60 min total appointment time. (Per regulatory guidelines, total appointment time includes (if applicable) greeting, assessment, time on/off table, home care advice, payment, rescheduling and charting.) 1st visits require additional interview, intake forms, and assessments. Direct Billing is NOT available, at this time (Receipts will be emailed after payment has been received. (Cash, Interac E-Transfer, Credit Card, and Debit are all accepted forms of payment) *Receipts are issued according to the guidelines of the CMTBC and are issued in the name of the person receiving the treatment.* If you require evening and weekend appointment times you may want to consider booking your initial appointment with a different RMT. Evening and weekend appointment availability is VERY limited.
