One thing to know about Sheila: she likes a good challenge. An adaptable and open-minded person, she enjoys figuring out ways to make things work, whether that be getting through school with a toddler and a job, troubleshooting technology or helping a patient become more functional. As a Registered Massage Therapist, Sheila’s goal is to provide individualized care to each client to help them feel more comfortable in their bodies in order to enjoy life to the fullest. Sheila has experience treating a variety of soft tissue injuries including pre- and post-natal women, high-risk pregnancies, and brain and spinal cord conditions. She has an understanding of the effects of dysfunction, pain, and stress on the body and the brain and integrates this knowledge to her treatments to promote relaxation and reduce pain to achieve clients’ goals and increase their daily functions. Not only will you feel comfortable thanks to Sheila’s expertise, but you’ll also feel at ease in her presence thanks to her down-to-earth, level-headed and responsible personality.
