Heather Fellows, a born and raised Calgarian, is a RMT with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Her education in Athletic therapy, Pilates, Functional medicine, Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and Lymphatic drainage allows Heather to see and treat the body in a whole body approach and address the underlying source of the problem. This is what sets her apart from other massage therapists. Heather’s journey to becoming a massage therapist was not a straight path, as she initially started studying Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal College (now University). After three years, she realized her true passion was manual therapy and decided to transfer to the massage program in 1992. Heather’s background in Kinesiology, coupled with her extensive massage training, has provided her with a unique perspective and skill set that she applies to all her treatments. She understands the body from multiple angles and knows how to address the root cause of pain and discomfort. Heather’s expertise in manual therapy shines through in her ability to provide effective relief for a wide variety of conditions, including chronic pain, injuries, and stress. She enjoys solving complex problems. Heather’s curiosity and love for the human body have led her to continuously seek out advanced education in a variety of techniques such as Lymphatic drainage, Neurokinetic therapy, myofascial cupping, STOTT Pilates, Functional Medicine Health Coaching, and more. Her enthusiasm for massage is apparent in the variety of injuries and patients she treats, including children. Her ability to work with patients of all ages and with a wide range of conditions is a testament to her skill and versatility as a therapist. She is known for her gentle and personable approach, which makes her a favourite among her patients. When Heather isn’t working, you can find her in her garden or working on another reno project in her home. She also has a rescue dog named Ruby, and spends a lot of time working with her to help her navigate through her fears and emotions as she is reactive to other dogs, but loves all humans. Heather Fellow’s ultimate goal is to help her clients feel their best, whether they’re recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or just looking to improve their overall quality of life. Her friendly and personable nature, combined with her extensive experience, make her the perfect practitioner to help you achieve your wellness goals.
