Heather Fellows, a born and raised Calgarian, specializes in Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) which is often the missing link in healing and recovering from injuries, surgeries, or poor movement patterns. It’s a technique for identifying and correcting unbalanced or dysfunctional movement patterns. Her expertise in NKT and her ability to address the underlying source of the problem are what set her apart as a massage therapist. Heather’s journey to becoming a massage therapist was not a straight path, as she initially started studying Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal College (now University). After three years, she realized her true passion was manual therapy and decided to transfer to the massage program in 1994. Heather’s background in Kinesiology, coupled with her extensive massage training, has provided her with a unique perspective and skill set that she applies to all her treatments. She understands the body from multiple angles and knows how to address the root cause of pain and discomfort. Heather’s expertise in manual therapy shines through in her ability to provide effective relief for a wide variety of conditions, including chronic pain, injuries, and stress. She enjoys solving complex problems. Heather’s curiosity and love for the human body have led her to continuously seek out advanced education in a variety of techniques such as myofascial cupping, Active Isolated Stretching, Pilates, Functional Medicine Health Coaching, and more. Her enthusiasm for massage is apparent in the variety of injuries and patients she treats, including children. Her ability to work with patients of all ages and with a wide range of conditions is a testament to her skill and versatility as a therapist. She is known for her gentle and personable approach, which makes her a favourite among her patients. When Heather isn’t working, you can find her exploring the great outdoors on some urban trail or in the mountains with her beloved dog, Ruby. She’s always looking for fresh and exciting ways to connect with nature. Heather Fellow’s ultimate goal is to help her patients feel their best, whether they’re recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or just looking to improve their overall quality of life. Her friendly and personable nature, combined with her extensive experience, make her the perfect practitioner to help you achieve your wellness goals.
