Moon Rabbit Acupuncture
Gudrun Snyder, D.Ac., MSAc, LAc, is a Doctor of East Asian Acupuncture. She completed her East Asian medical training at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago, after studying General Management at Stanford University, and training as a EMT at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Neuro-Psychology. She is board certified by the NCCAOM as an Acupuncturist and specializes in a root-cause resolution approach to treatment. Gudrun is a breast cancer survivor and a board member of Twist Out Cancer, an international nonprofit organization that provides psychosocial support to those touched by cancer. Diagnosed at the age of 32, with a 1-year old baby, she used Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in addition to Western medicine to aid her recovery. After finishing cancer treatment, she underwent IVF coupled with acupuncture and became pregnant with her second child. She also serves as the Co-President of the Vanderbilt Alumni Chapter of Chicago and lives in the West Loop neighborhood with her husband, 5 year-old-daughter, and toddler.
