Fluent in Cantonese and English. Alison completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at McGill University and undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. During her clinical placement at Markham Pelvic Health, she developed a passion for pelvic floor physiotherapy. She incorporates her experience with recreational athletes and geriatrics to provide holistic treatment plans focused on manual therapy and patient-specific exercise prescription. Working with a wide range of populations has also allowed her to understand the important role of mental well-being in congruency with physical well-being. Growing up with patients working laborious jobs, she finds meaning in helping patients reach their functional goals and finding a treatment plan that integrates well with patients’ busy lives Outside of work, Alison enjoys jogging, exploring restaurants and cooking for her big family so feel free to give recommendations or recipes!
