Dr. Abdella graduated from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. During this time he was chosen to be a part of a multidisciplinary team treating veterans at the VA Medical Center – Jefferson Barracks. This was both a privilege and a dream come true because as a Senior Intern he was able to help patients dealing with chronic pain, which is Dr. Abdella’s true passion. He was also a Clinical Preceptor at Affinia Healthcare where he treated underinsured and underprivileged patients. Dr. Abdella published research using data he compiled from his experience at Affinia. As a student he also founded a non-profit that is geared towards providing care for underserved communities. He has received training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and has extensive experience treating No Fault and Workers Comp patients. When he isn’t working, Dr. Abdella enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughters, and two dogs. Most of all he enjoys anything related to the underwater world and maintains his own personal salt water tank.
During an initial exam, we will discuss in full detail your medical history, physical complaints, and your health goals. This will be followed by a prompt but efficient physical exam, which will help us determine the best course of action moving forward. During this time we will also discuss treatment options and how we can reach your goals together. We will also start treatment this day if you are comfortable doing so.
