Chrystelle Cohen is a fourth-year student intern at Yo San University Clinic, currently completing her clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is pursuing her education in acupuncture and herbal medicine with a deep appreciation for the holistic principles of Chinese medicine. Chrystelle believes that Chinese medicine is not limited to the treatment of specific conditions, but rather focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance and maintain homeostasis. Her approach to patient care is compassionate, open-minded, and patient-centered. She values treating each individual as a whole person and recognizes that physical, emotional, and environmental factors are deeply interconnected. Chrystelle strives to create a supportive healing environment where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for throughout their healing journey. She is particularly inspired by the philosophy of becoming a sophisticated practitioner — one who looks beyond isolated symptoms and seeks to understand the dynamic and ever, changing nature of health and wellbeing. She believes that in order to care for others effectively, practitioners must also cultivate and maintain their own physical and mental balance. She is deeply grateful to her patients for the opportunity to learn, grow, and continue evolving into a more thoughtful and compassionate practitioner. Chrystelle is fluent in both English and French. she also understands Spanish and can speak a little.
