Matt completed his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at UBC before travelling to Cork, Ireland to get his Masters in Physiotherapy. Prior to doing his Masters he worked as a Kinesiologist focusing on active rehabilitation for elite athletes, ICBC and private clients. Exercise is a large component of his treatment, as well as manual therapy, injury education and mobilization techniques. Matt believes in teaching clients to understand their body and control how it moves in order to control their symptoms and prevent injuries from reoccurring. Matt uses his personal experiences with injuries to understand his patients and help them return to their goals. In his spare time, Matt enjoys being active with friends or on his own. He can be found on a basketball court, soccer pitch, a field playing spikeball or in the gym. Otherwise he spends his time playing board games, video games or working on his car.
