Kendra Gowdy is a Registered Physiotherapist dedicated to helping people of all ages move confidently, recover from injury, and achieve their goals. She provides individualized, evidence-based care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with special interests in paediatric physiotherapy and dance rehabilitation. Kendra earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Kinesiology (Honours) from Ontario Tech University, where she worked as a Student Athletic Therapist with the women's field lacrosse and basketball teams. She then completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto before beginning her career as a physiotherapist. Alongside her clinical work, Kendra is an experienced dance teacher, educator, and choreographer. Having trained and competed in all genres of dance from a young age, she developed a strong appreciation for movement and performance. Her experience in both dance and physiotherapy allows her to understand the unique physical demands placed on dancers and provide rehabilitation programs that support safe recovery, injury prevention, and optimal performance. Kendra enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, from infants and children to adolescents and adults. Whether supporting a child in reaching developmental milestones, helping an athlete return to sport, or guiding someone through recovery from an injury, Kendra believes in creating individualized treatment plans that reflect each person's unique goals. Her approach combines evidence-based practice with open communication and a whole-person perspective. Kendra strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where clients feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Initial Assessment
New PatientGeneral

Your first physiotherapy appointment is an opportunity for your physiotherapist to learn more about you, your concerns, and your goals. They will discuss your history and complete a physical assessment to better understand your movement, strength, mobility, and overall function. From there, you will work together to develop an individualized treatment plan designed to help you move better, feel better, and return to the activities that matter most to you.
