She firmly believes movement is medicine, and her treatments include active participation. She has extensive experience with massage therapy, including post-operative, brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation. She holds certifications in pain science, osteopathic techniques, and strength & conditioning through the American Counsel on Exercise. She has experience providing care for a range of athletes from amateur to professional, including National Hockey League, American Hockey League, Canadian Football League, PanAm games, IronMan, BC Bike Race, and National Collegiate Athletic Association. As a professional bodybuilder with the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation, Victoria has first-hand experience with sports injuries as a patient & clinician. In her spare time she can be found hiking with her dog River or playing volleyball. She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Toronto in 2016 with honours. She was an instructor at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2022-2023. She also works as a paramedic on the Southern Gulf Islands.
The myofascial release technique focuses on soft tissue pain which arises from muscular tissue and the membranes which surround it. This technique is used in conjunction with traditional neuromuscular therapy as well as Swedish massage, and assists with systemic circulation and adhesions which contribute to joint stiffness.
