Dr. Dorothy Payne, , is a Canadian trained licensed acupuncturist and doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine with advanced specialization in German Auricular Medicine (GAM) - a modern and sophisticated, neuroscience-based system of acupuncture that uses the ear as a detailed map of the body. Drawing on years of training with leading experts in auriculotherapy, Dr. Payne integrates specialized auricular needles, ear seeds, and/or Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) to identify and treat precise reflex points that correspond to physical, physiological, neurological and emotional imbalances. Her work focuses on restoring regulation within the autonomic nervous system, making her approach particularly effective for chronic pain, emotional trauma, mental health, stress, allergies, hormonal imbalances, post-traumatic stress, and other complex conditions that often resist conventional therapies. With the precision of auricular diagnostic techniques, Dr. Payne tailors each treatment to the individual’s unique energetic and neurological patterns, addressing root causes rather than symptoms and creating measurable changes in pain levels, stress response, and overall vitality. Blending traditional Chinese medicine principles with evidence-based European methodologies, Dr. Payne offers a gentle, non-invasive, and deeply targeted healing experience, bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern science. Her goal is to help patients achieve balance, resilience, and optimal health through the body’s own innate intelligence.
