Vanessa works and plays on the traditional, unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples. Born and raised in Vancouver and trained in Nelson, BC, Vanessa is a trauma-informed acupuncturist with a special focus in pain management, nervous system regulation, mental health, women’s health, and cosmetic acupuncture. She creates a safe space where patients are encouraged to actively participate in their healing. She believes that no healing can happen when our bodies are in a state of flight or flight, and aims to create a space for her patients to decompress into a parasympathetic state of what she calls “acu-bliss” Inspired by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vanessa sees the body as naturally intelligent, moving through cycles and rhythms like the seasons. Her work is about supporting this innate ability to restore balance, grow, and flourish—helping patients reconnect with their bodies, feel empowered, and experience health in a deeply personal and lasting way.

The manual therapies support the movement of blood and qi, in accordance with the principles of Chinese Medicine. Your session may include a combination of acupuncture, Tui Na therapeutic massage, and cupping, thoughtfully tailored to your specific concerns. This service can be booked as either an Initial or Return Visit and is ideal for those seeking musculoskeletal support for injury, pain, stress, or strain. **Note that these treatments are covered under most extended medical plans, under Acupuncture by a Registered Acupuncturist and can be submitted by our front desk for direct billing, when applicable.
