Allison graduated from Dalhousie University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honours and her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to her physiotherapy studies, she engaged in neurorehabilitation research in Western Australia and worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in Halifax, leading exercise classes for diverse populations. In addition to her clinical work, Allison is currently pursuing post-graduate training with the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal system. With a background as a national-level sprint kayak athlete and training in various sports, she champions the benefits of exercise and an active lifestyle for overall health and well-being. Allison applies an informed approach combining manual and exercise-focused therapy to help you optimizing your body and well-being. Outside of work, Allison enjoys hiking, cooking, and participating in a variety of exercise classes. She also serves on the executive board of the Nova Scotia Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. With a passion for helping individuals of all ages and fitness levels, Allison adopts an evidence-based and client-centered approach to assist them in identifying and achieving their functional goals
