Carolina graduated from Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy in 2004. Over the past 9 years she has had the opportunity to work in various clinical settings including chiropractic offices, massage therapy clinics, and high end Toronto spas. This variety in work atmospheres, as well as working closely with other health care practitioners has allowed her gain the knowledge and skill in treating sports injuries such as: Achilles and ligament ruptures, herniated discs, rotator cuff tears, strains, motor vehicle accidents, nerve impingements, tension headaches and much more. Even though the majority of her techniques are deep tissue and trigger point based, her philosophy on treatments is to focus on addressing the underlying stresses of everyday life by incorporating relaxation and breathing techniques. Since graduation, Carolina has also continued her education by specializing in pregnancy massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and is currently working towards her Doula certification. By combining all her extensive training, and experience Carolina focuses on developing client specific massage therapy treatments, so that she not only offers quick relief of her clients health related issues, but also prevents them from returning…. there are no cookie cutter massages here.
