Enna is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC. Originally from Brazil, she spent over 15 years practicing as a Medical Doctor after graduating from the prestigious University of São Paulo, Brazil’s top medical school. She also serves as a medical consultant for several international NGOs, providing care in diverse clinical and cultural settings. Her journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbology has been a continuing pursuit to expand her understanding of health and healing. She has experience treating a wide range of patients — from children to expectant mothers — and addressing conditions such as infertility, stress, anxiety, insomnia, digestive disorders, and pain. Her goal is to offer personalized, integrative treatment experiences that combine the strengths of Western and Oriental Medicine, helping her patients achieve greater well-being and quality of life — so they can feel better and live better. During her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, the ocean breeze and flowers, good food, reading and traveling.

Hence, a TCM practitioner assesses one’s state of health by analysing external symptoms displayed to seek evidence of internal problems. Unique diagnostic methods are used to collect and analyse clinical information. inspection (observation), auscultation and olfaction (listening and smelling), interrogation (inquirying or questioning), and palpation (pulse examination).
