Dr. Allmendinger is a North Dakota native, having grown up in Hazen. She attended NDSU where she studied Dietetics and Pre Medicine. While at NDSU she also worked as a CNA and at PRACS Institute. After her time at NDSU she continued her education at Bastyr University near Seattle, WA. There she received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and her Masters in Acupuncture. After graduation she came back to ND and began practicing at Dakota Natural Health Center. She has a large interest in the political realm of naturopathic medicine at the state and federal level. At the state level she serves as the primary lobbyist for the North Dakota Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Allmendinger has always had a strong interest in International medicine and has traveled extensively to learn about other forms of medicine around the world.
