Kristina has been practicing in private practice since graduating from the College of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. She is committed to helping individuals improve strength, mobility, and overall function so they can return to the activities that are meaningful to them. Kristina has a strong interest in preventative health and believes that exercise plays a critical role in maintaining health and function throughout the lifespan. Her clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of lumbopelvic dysfunction and lower extremity injuries. She has pursued extensive post-graduate training and has completed certifications in pelvic health physiotherapy, Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI), and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Outside of her professional practice, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband, twin children, and their dog. She is active in strength training and various cardiovascular activities and enjoys being outdoors, particularly gardening and spending time at the lake. Kristina was a competitive rhythmic gymnast and volleyball player in her youth and now contributes to the sport by helping coach her daughter’s club volleyball team. She also has a strong interest in injury prevention for young athletes.
