Zoe Scott has been practicing massage therapy since 2003 and is very much inspired and engaged in the work. She recently earned an associates degree in Nursing and works full time as a mental health nurse. With massage, Zoe's intention is to act as a partner and ally to support clients in attaining long term positive changes in their body. Partnering compassionate listening with a firm hands-on technique, she comes to the table with many years of experience helping people with chronic pain and other issues. Zoe aims to show the client the potential of massage therapy as a tool in healing and transformation. She has a background in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, hydrotherapy, reflexology, reiki and myofascial work as well as the use of hot stones, CBD and stretching. Zoe can meet you wherever you are and assist in your healing. By integrating these different modalities, she can create a personalized and thorough treatment plan that is both intuitive and therapeutic. Basalt stones are heated and then lubricated with oil. The therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
