Corey was born and raised in Edmonton and earned both his Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Throughout his education, he developed an interest in human biomechanics and how the body functions as an interconnected system. Corey enjoys working closely with his clients to uncover how even small dysfunctions in the body can affect overall movement and well-being. By partnering with his clients, he finds practical solutions that are tailored to their needs. He firmly believes that every problem has a solution that can be used to move forward. Over the course of his career, Corey has worked with a wide range of patients, including those dealing with cancer, neurological conditions, geriatric needs, and pre- and post-transplant recovery. He has a special interest in working with cancer patients and supporting them through their journey. As part of this work, he has developed a prototype to measure lymphedema arm volumes, a tool designed to assist breast cancer survivors. When he’s not in the clinic, Corey can be found playing volleyball around Edmonton. He also enjoys learning about the latest technologies, which currently includes artificial intelligence and self-driving cars.
