You don’t feel like yourself when you’re in pain — it gets in the way of doing the things you love. Whether you’ve just sprained your ankle or are dealing with nagging shoulder or back tension, Daniel offers manual osteopathy and massage therapy tailored to help you feel better, move better, and return to what matters most. Daniel takes a whole-body approach that doesn’t just focus on symptoms — it addresses the underlying causes. A typical session begins with a full-body assessment to track progress over time, followed by hands-on treatment to release restrictions, and personalized home care to help your body integrate the changes. By focusing on mobility, alignment, and education, Daniel supports the body’s natural ability to heal and maintain lasting relief. Daniel studied Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, followed by massage therapy at the renowned Sutherland-Chan School, and most recently earned a Diploma of Manual Osteopathic Practice from the Southern Ontario School of Osteopathy. His passion for learning continues — he recently completed an advanced biomechanics course in corrective exercise and postural alignment. For Daniel, movement isn’t just work — it’s a way of life. When he’s not studying anatomy, he’s living it: practicing calisthenics, running, dancing, or doing acrobatics in the great outdoors.

Massage Therapy

Chronic TMJ pain and tension is about more than tight muscles. The root cause lies deeper— from anxiety and an overstressed nervous system caught in a constant state of overstimulation and bracing, unable to relax. Persistent TMJ symptoms can extend far beyond the jaw, affecting energy flow and overall wellbeing. These may include headaches and migraines, teeth grinding (bruxism), joint noises (clicking), dental wear or teeth shifting, tinnitus, and energy . Left unaddressed, these patterns can create a cycle that reinforces anxiety, amplifying tension and making it harder for the jaw and nervous system to shift into ease. Our holistic and integrative approach begins with a thorough assessment to understand your unique patterns and identify the root causes of your TMJ tension. The treatment then combines three powerful modalities to support you: 1. Manual Therapy to surrounding tisses and Intra-Oral Massage to release deep muscle tension and trigger points 2. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) to gently work with any shifting of the cranium (skull) and restore alignment and circulation 3. TCM Acupuncture to directly work with the nervous system, encouraging recalibration and a shift into calm, regulated functioning. By addressing both the physical and nervous system contributors to TMJ tension, this treatment helps the jaw, body, and mind soften, release, ground, and reclaim the balance you deserve.
