I’m Gord Grant (Ph.D., R.Ac.). I help people deal with many issues — most commonly pain — by restoring function, strength, and well-being — wherever they’re starting from. In my 20s I researched bee diseases as a scientist; in my 30s I built and ran a large-scale commercial bee farm; in my 40s I returned to research with a food focus. Since my 50s, and now into my 60s, I’ve practiced acupuncture while still keeping honey bees as a hobby. My experiences have taught me that understanding and progress come from careful observation, and then trying things out that make sense. With acupuncture, this applies not only to a patient’s symptoms, but to the whole person experiencing them. Each treatment is adapted to your situation, priorities, and goals. My aim is to combine precise, thoughtful treatment with clear explanation, so you understand what’s happening in your body and move forward with confidence. I use acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and a skilled approach to dry needling that minimizes discomfort. My work is informed by research and clinical experience. My aim is steady, meaningful progress from foundations— not only superficial short-term relief. My work challenges me to stay curious and interested as I treat each patient’s unique set of circumstances. I especially appreciate how a person’s understanding of their health changes over their life. If you have questions or need help booking, feel free to call. Otherwise, you’re welcome to book online.
