AJ is a chiropractic intern at Move Better pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States, preparing to graduate in December 2026. He is passionate about movement-based care and performance helping people move freely, build strength, and return confidently to the activities they love. Originally from Aspen, Colorado, AJ grew up immersed in an active mountain lifestyle, spending winters snowboarding and playing nearly every sport before ultimately focusing on basketball and track & field. He earned a collegiate scholarship for high jump at Concordia University Irvine, where he competed for several years and reached a personal best of 6’10”. His experiences as a life long athlete, combined with his own injuries and years of training, ultimately sparked his passion for human performance, rehabilitation, and long-term health. Outside the clinic, AJ continues to chase adventure through rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, and snowboarding, always seeking the next beautiful and physically challenging objective. If he is not climbing he spends much of his free time exploring outdoors with his girlfriend, bringing the same curiosity and energy he applies to movement and healing into every part of his life.
**Please note cash rates require an additional $49 sign-up (annual) with ChiroHealth USA.** Your initial visit with Move Better is longer than most clinic intakes. It will be 2 hours. Your exam can include physical therapy exercises, bodywork, and chiropractic manipulation. Not all of these services are required or needed. Treatment will focusing on answering the most important question: "Why do I have pain?" There is a significant amount of education as to why we are doing what we are doing.
