Mason Wachter is a Registered Massage Therapist born and raised in Canmore, Alberta. He graduated from ACMT with honors with distinction. Growing up in Canmore, he has always carried a love for the outdoors, movement and is an avid rock climber, skier, and musician. He believes that one treatment doesn’t fit all and consistently strives to incorporate a diversity of techniques individually tailored to each client. His style is slow, smooth and intentional with a very perceptive touch. With a balanced approach focused on the root cause of an issue, he excels at gentle intuitive touch but also provides skilled deep-tissue work. He combines Swedish and non-Swedish techniques such as myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, trigger point release, and joint mobilization, as well as pre and postnatal massage, and more. Ikigai is a Japanese concept, which translates to “a reason for being”. It represents the intersection of four elements: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Mason has found his ikigai. He chose this career path to make a difference in his community for the better and feels a great sense of purpose by bringing relief to peoples lives. He’s full of gratitude for the opportunity and ability to provide a space for others to heal and decompress.
