The techniques I utilize in session vary to become more in tune to each individual and their specific needs. I often find myself blending clinical modalities such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and sports massage with more luxurious spa modalities such as hot stone, cupping and heat therapy to achieve the most effective treatment that speaks to your unique bodywork goals. Smooth, hot stones are heated and lubricated with oil or essential oils, allowing the therapeutic effects of heat to relax muscles more deeply and aid in releasing tight muscles. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands combined with traditional swedish techniques ,hot stone massage provides a uniquely calming and centering experience.
