Mara started her post high school journey with a Bachelor’s degree in English but her meditative and holistic energy brought her to Wellspring School of Allied Health where she graduated in 2021 with a certification in massage therapy. Recently Mara has continued her education by taking courses in Myofascial massage, a technique that treats connective tissue/scar tissue, and a PNMT course that taught neuromusclular techiques to address various shoulder, arm and hand dysfunctions. Mara’s intuitive approach to massage leads her to listen to what the clients needs are in conjuction with being aware of what their body is presenting at the time. By balancing relaxation with more targeted neuromuscular work in her massage style, she specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial techniques. Mara’s diverse interests in hiking, reading, and art fill her spare time when outside the office.
